On April 30, the industry-university-research exchange meeting organized by the State Key Laboratory of Characteristic Metal Materials and Composite Structure Life Safety was held in our school, and the industrial Technology Advisory Committee of the State Key Laboratory was established. School Party Committee standing Committee, vice president Xiao Jianzhuang, Liang Enwei attended the meeting.

Xiao Jianzhuang pointed out that Guangxi University and other units in the comprehensive utilization of non-ferrous metal resources, high-performance aluminum alloy materials processing, major basic engineering construction and other fields have a solid foundation for industry-university-research cooperation, has formed a good organic link between the school and the enterprise, the university and the laboratory will be committed to carrying out more extensive and in-depth cooperation with enterprises, and constantly improve the cooperation and innovation coordination mechanism. We will strengthen the open sharing of scientific and technological innovation resources, actively participate in the deep integration of industry, universities and research institutes, and actively promote the transformation and application of technological research and development and innovation results.

After listening to the reports on the research direction, key tasks, and the basis of industry-university-research cooperation of the laboratory, representatives of member units of the Industrial Technology Advisory Committee of the State Key Laboratory and relevant laboratory personnel exchanged views on the work and measures of industry-university-research cooperation, achievement transformation, talent mutual training, etc., and agreed that the school and the enterprise should integrate the resource advantages of the two sides and deepen the industry-university-research cooperation. Build a centralized and efficient industrial innovation system, establish a market-oriented mechanism for technological innovation, aim at the market, promote the continuous innovation and development of scientific research results and industrial transformation, and strive for more advantageous fields with Guangxi characteristics to enter the national leading ranks.

Representatives of member units of the industrial Technology Advisory Committee of the State Key Laboratory also conducted special industry-university-research cooperation and exchanges with researchers of the three major scientific and technological projects of the laboratory on issues such as the specific technical needs of the industry and the transfer and transformation of existing scientific research results of the laboratory.

Representatives of 17 units such as Guangxi Branch of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, Zhongxi Guangxi Rare Earth Co., LTD., Southern Manganese Industry Group Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the meeting, and relevant responsible persons and experts from the Development Planning Department, Scientific Research Institute, College of Civil Engineering, College of Resources, Environment and Materials, State Key Laboratory of our University attended the meeting.
